Rite Aid Drug Quiz

     

Target Population: Students in 5th-8th grades who compete in the quiz and students in 9th-12th grades who serve as peer advisors.

Inform participants and audiences about the facts related to the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

Foster the acquisition of general life skills and specific skills for resisting drug use among participants in the quiz.

Students are provided with information about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and are encouraged to develop their knowledge through competition in a game show format that begins at the school level and progresses through county and state wide stages.
 

Increased knowledge of pharmacological, social, and psychological impact of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

Increase self image, communication skills, ability to work as a member of a team and other skills of participants.
