Life Skills Training

     

Target Population: Middle and high school students, teachers, guidance counselors and other educators.

Provide information about important factors associated with use of one or more drugs.

Foster the acquisition of general skills and specific skills for resisting drug use.

Designed as a 2 to 3 year school based program, but can be adapted for presentation in other domains.

Employ a science based, skills training method that provides information, increases resistance to drug use and develops general life skills.

Prevent, decrease or delay age of first use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in the participants.

Increase self image, decision making ability, communication skills, ability to resist per pressure, ability to cope with anxiety and other life skills of participants in the program.

Life Skills Training is part of our INROADS program.
