CAZ ACTION stands for All Citizens Together Investing in our
Neighborhood. We are a community coalition whose mission is to reduce
the incidence and impact of underage drinking in Cazenovia through
increased community involvement. The coalition seeks to engage
community members from various sectors of the community to include law
enforcement, business owners, school administrators, youth, parents as
well as any community member interested in working on our initiatives.
Our initiatives include our Safe Home Directory, environmental prevention, social host education, media campaigns, alcohol sponsorship/server training initiatives, social norms work, S.W.A.T. (Students Working for Alcohol Truths), Town Hall Meetings, and creating resources to assist parents with addressing potential risk factors their children may endure. Anyone interested in becoming involved is encouraged to make contact to find out about current projects to see which might interest them.
