Employee Assistance

BRiDGES Employee Assistance Program (EAP) was established in 1989 to provide comprehensive services to businesses in Madison, Cortland, Oneida and Onondaga Counties. The program assists employees and their family members in addressing problems that may impact job performance. Services are professional and confidential. The Employee Assistance Program serves businesses in manufacturing, the service industry, health care delivery, banking, and government.

Do you want to:

    • Retain skilled employees
    • Decrease absenteeism
    • Increase productivity
    • Enhance customer service
Could an EAP help you?

Employee - "I am going through a messy divorce and just can't seem to concentrate on my work the way I used to. I think my supervisor is unhappy with my work. What can I do?"

Supervisor - "I have an employee who has been working for this organization for 9 years. This person is a valued employee but just is not performing the way that we need in this department. There have been errors and delays. I don't know if I should say something or wait for things to get better. I think there are some problems at home."

An EAP can help in both of these situations.

If your company does not have an employee assistance program and you would like more information about how to obtain one, contact the BRiDGES office at (315) 697-3949.

If you work for one of the companies covered by the BRiDGES Employee Assistance Program, or EAP, just call (315) 697-3949 or 1-800-834-3947 for assistance.
