Reality Check is a youth action movement in New York State with a strong presence in Central New York. Teens in Reality Check work to expose the manipulative marketing tactics of the tobacco companies and mobilize their communities to protect future generations from being targeted by Big Tobacco. Teens focus their efforts on raising awareness of how the tobacco industry markets their products in the stores they shop in, getting smoking and tobacco imagery out of G, PG, and PG-13 movies, and raising community awareness about the deceptive practices of the tobacco industry.
